Choong-Jang (52 Movements)             (3rd Degree Black Belt)
  Choong-Jang is the pseudonym given to General Kim, Duk Rang who lived during the Yi Dynasty, 14th Century. This pattern ends with a left hand attack to symbolize his tragedy of his deat at 27 in prison (on a false charge) before he was able to reach full maturity.

Ul-Ji (42 Movements)                (3rd Degree Black Belt)
   Ul-Ji is named after General Ul-Ji Moon-Dok who successfully defeated Korea agains a Tang's invasion force of nearly one million soldiers led by Yang-Je in 612 A.D., Ul-Ji employing a hit and run guerilla tactics was able to decimate a large persentage of the force. The diagram {  }represents his sirname.  The 42 movments represent the author's age when he designed the pattern

Taebeak (26 Movements)                 (3rd Degree Black Belt)
  The mythical story about the founding of Korea says that about four thousand three  hundred  (4300) years ago, the legendary Dan-Gun founded the nation for the first time in Taebeak, present day Mount Baekdoo. Mt. Baekdoo is the loftiest and grandest Mountain in Korea.
